Iran has issued a sharp warning to the United States and President Donald Trump as tensions in West Asia continue to rise. The statement comes at a time when many countries are calling for urgent de-escalation between Washington and Tehran.

Iran warns US of serious consequences

Iran’s military advisor Mohsen Rezaei, speaking to the state-run IRNA news agency, warned that the “deadline to save America” is approaching. He said the United States has very little time left to avoid deeper involvement in the conflict.

In a televised interview, Rezaei said if the US targets Iran’s infrastructure again, Tehran will respond with much stronger action. “If you strike our infrastructure, it will no longer be an eye for an eye, it will be a head for an eye; you will be crippled,” he said.

He also warned Washington and said that Tehran will "paralyse you and drown you in the Gulf." His comments come just a day after Donald Trump announced that the US would pause strikes on Iran’s energy facilities and power plants for five days.

The Iranian leader further said that the war would continue until several conditions are met. These include full compensation for damages caused during the conflict, removal of economic sanctions against Iran, and guarantees from Washington that it will not interfere in Iran’s internal affairs.

Iran accuses Trump of psychological warfare

Rezaei also criticised Trump’s approach to the conflict, calling his behaviour contradictory. According to him, Iran will not be distracted by what he described as psychological warfare.

He said Iran’s resistance has already created confusion among its opponents and weakened their plans. “Iran’s steadfastness and resistance have raised doubts among the aggressors,” Rezaei added, stressing that the country will continue its fight if necessary.
