From Thailand to Ladakh: All 6 key filming locations of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2

In Punjab, the film used both city and village locations. Important scenes were shot in Amritsar at the Golden Temple and Lal Kothi, including Ranveer Singh’s character’s mansion, a real 20,000 sq. ft. property. Khera Village in Ludhiana was transformed to look like a rural Pakistani neighborhood with mud houses and narrow lanes. In Patiala, the Government Medical College was used for some scenes, while Shahnewal Airport served as a backdrop for several key sequences.

In Chandigarh, the filmmakers shot at the Capitol Complex, using the Palace of Assembly as the headquarters for the Joint Intelligence Committee, New Delhi. Scenic and city scenes were filmed at Sukhna Lake and the Sector 17 underpass.

In Ladakh, the rugged mountains around Patthar Sahib in Leh were used to film high altitude action scenes.

In Himachal Pradesh, the scenic hills of Kasauli and the Lawrence School were used as backdrops for several scenes.

In Bangkok, Thailand, filming started in July 2024. A large set was built to recreate the Pakistani town of Lyari, and many Pakistan based scenes were shot there.
