In a tragic incident that unfolded in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where the President of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, was fatally shot in his home. A distressing video of the incident emerged on social media, depicting the calm moments before three assailants opened fire on him while he sat on his sofa. Sukhdev Singh sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds. The attackers, though identified by the police, are currently on the run. Gangster Rohit Godara, linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has claimed responsibility for Gogamedi’s murder, sparking questions about his identity and motives behind the killing.

A bounty of one lakh rupees has been placed on Godara.
Following the murder, Lawrence Bishnoi’s associate, Rohit Godara, posted on Facebook claiming responsibility, citing Gogamedi’s alleged collaboration with their adversaries. He warned those considered enemies to prepare for the consequences, hinting at their imminent fate. Godara, a known associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has been marked as wanted by the police, with a bounty of Rs. 1 lakh announced for his capture.
Godara, who hails from Bikaner, has a history of evading authorities, reportedly obtaining a fake passport in 2022 to leave the country. He was implicated in the 2019 Churu murder case of Bhinvraj Saran and also took credit for the killing of gangster Raju Theth. Gogamedi was a prominent figure within the Rajput Karni Sena, initially established under Lokendra Singh Kalvi in 2006. A rift emerged in 2008, leading to the formation of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena Committee by Ajit Singh Mamdoli, prompting Gogamedi to become its president after Kalvi’s removal.
Residents revealed that Gogamedi had previously received multiple threats and had reported concerns for his safety to the police. Even when his wife visited the local temple, private security accompanied her due to fears for their safety.
