Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Cyberabad traffic police on Thursday issued a comprehensive traffic advisory in the aftermath of road damage caused to the Nagpur Highway (NH44) due to torrential rains. The advisory outlines traffic diversions to ensure smooth vehicular movement. The affected stretch between Kamareddy, Dichpally, and Armoor sections has been closed. Meanwhile, the commuters are urged to take alternative roads to reach their respective destinations.
Diversion For Heavy Vehicles
Heavy vehicles approaching from Hyderabad towards Adilabad on the National Highway 44 will be diverted at the Medchal Checkpost.
Commuters can travel through Medchal Checkpost, Siddipet, Karimnagar, Jagityal, Korutla, Metpally, and Armoor to reach Adilabad.
Diversion For Light Vehicles
Light vehicles en route from Hyderabad towards Adilabad on NH44 will be rerouted at Toopran. The suggested alternate route are: Medchal → Toopran → Siddipet → Karimnagar → Jagityal → Korutla → Metpally → Armoor → Adilabad.
Cyberabad Traffic Police has advised motorists and long-distance travellers to follow the diversion routes to avoid congestion. Moreover, Traffic Police and Highway Patrol teams will be stationed along the route to guide commuters.
