Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled the Union Budget 2026 on Sunday, outlining the vision plan for the year. News 24, holding the interest of the people, conducted ‘Budget Manthan 2026’, inviting acclaimed academicians, politicians, and economists to hold discussions and explain the Budget’s impact on the common man.
In conversation with Dr Gourav Vallabh, an esteemed Indian economist, academician, and politician, he stated that the Union Budget would benefit the future and students by promoting government investment in academic townships. These planned academic spots will host multiple universities, research centres, and colleges, which will benefit the students tremendously. This Union Budget is giving focus to the future generation. He reiterated that through this Budget, India is steady as the fastest-growing economy. When asked about how it is ot beneficial for the middle-class, he emphasised that the money invested in the industry will benefit the masses tremendously.
When questioned about how the people are perceiving the Budget for the middle class, he stated that the budget allotted 40,000 crores to semiconductors, and investing in the rare earth minerals, and a total CAPEX of 12,20,000 crores, the jobs will create themselves. He reaffirmed that the Union Budget 2026 will benefit all citizens alike.
