BTS has finally made their most-awaited comeback with the release of ‘Arirang’ and the grand concert in Seoul. Even though the concert was a massive success and garnered a huge crowd, the band has also been receiving backlash online from South Koreans. It has also been reported that BigHit Music might receive a legal notice as well.
Why is BTS getting trolled after the Arirang concert?
Around 2 lakh fans attended the concert in Seoul, but it reportedly caused some disruptions. Many workers reportedly faced difficulty commuting due to road closures, whereas some local ceremonies were rescheduled. Due to this, a legal notice could be sent to BTS and the organisers for the inconvenience caused to residents.
Before the concert, the authorities were on terrorism alert in some parts of central Seoul due to geopolitical tensions and the large-scale event. Thousands of police personnel and safety officials were also deployed to control the crowd. These steps were taken after several stampede tragedies had happened in South Korea previously, taking several lives.
Meanwhile, this concert titled ‘BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang’ was streamed on Netflix around the world and is still available on the platform.
