The police couldn\u2019t trace a missing 5-year-old girl even after searching every nook and corner of the locality for two days. In a shocking incident, a five-year-old has gone missing from her home in Shahjahanabad of Bhopal. According to the police, the incident took place on Tuesday afternoon around 12 pm and the parents were not at home when the girl disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police conducted search in Vajpayee Nagar after the complaint was registered by the parents of child. Dog squad and drones are also used to search for the girl, but the police hasn\u2019t been successful in finding the girl. The police interrogated the locals and CCTV footages were also reviewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The girl\u2019s mother told ANI that the girl had gone to collect book from a friend\u2019s house at around 12 pm on Tuesday, she had informed her grandmother that she would return shortly. Hours passed and she didn\u2019t reach home. The girl wasn\u2019t still home when she and her husband returned. Sensing that she was missing they searched the area immediately but couldn\u2019t find her trace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll I want is my daughter back as soon as possible,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to ANI, Shahjahanabad police station in-charge, UPS Chauhan said, \u201cThe parents of the child came to Shahjahanabad police station, reporting their daughter had gone missing. They said their five-year-old daughter had gone to an Anganwadi Centre and returned home. She then stepped out again to collect a book from downstairs but didn’t return. During this time, a vehicle from the Municipal Corporation’s malaria team also arrived for fogging, and after completing their task, the vehicle left.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police registered FIR on the basis of parents\u2019 statements and alerted officials after the complaint was received. They also informed that efforts are underway to search the girl. Fogging team has also been questioned about the girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
