In a tragic incident, a 10-year-old girl was allegedly stabbed to death by her 14-year-old neighbour in Hyderabad. The girl was stabbed 21 times by the neighbour, who wanted to steal her cricket bat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to NDTV, the deceased has been identified as Sahasra, a class 6 student. The girl\u2019s father is a mechanic and her mother works as a lab technician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per reports, the victim was alone at home when the incident took place. The girl\u2019s six-year-old brother had gone to school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The girl\u2019s father returned home and found his daughter in a pool of blood. The police arrested the neighbour four days after the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Miscreant injured during police encounter in Ghaziabad<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In a seperate incident, a miscreant sustained a bullet injury after the police shot him in retaliatory fire during an encounter in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad on Thursday night, police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As per Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Indirapuram, Abhishek Srivastava, the police had set up a checkpost on Thursday night and saw a man approaching on a motorbike. He was asked to stop and cooperate with the police; however, the miscreant tried to flee and fired on the police team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He was later injured in retaliatory fire by the police officials and has been admitted to a hospital for further treatment.
