On one hand, he is the <strong>AAA Mega Champion<\/strong>, and on the other, he is also the Intercontinental Champion in WWE. Now, he faces significant challenges in both arenas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Big Bet on the AAA Mega Championship<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the February 21 episode of AAA on FOX, a contract was signed between Dominik and El Hijo del Vikingo. A no-disqualification match is scheduled between the two at the AAA Rey de Reyes event on March 14, 2026. The AAA Mega Championship will be at stake in this match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Strict Win-Loss Stipulations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This match has a special stipulation. If Vikingo loses, he will not be able to challenge for the title again as long as Dominik remains champion. However, if Dominik loses, he will have to leave AAA forever. Therefore, this match is extremely important for both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Month-Long Rivalry<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dominik and Vikingo have had a fierce rivalry for the past several months. The two have traded attacks and statements against each other. While Dominik is seen as a heel in WWE, he is being portrayed as an anti-hero in AAA. Vikingo, on the other hand, formed the group &#8220;El Ojo&#8221; last year with Omos and Dorian Roldan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New Challenge in WWE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dominik&#8217;s troubles aren&#8217;t limited to AAA. He won the Intercontinental Championship again at Survivor Series: WarGames in November but has yet to defend it. Recently, on Raw, Penta defeated El Grande Americano to become the number one contender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Injury and Return Story<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the AAA Guerra De Titanes event in December, Dominik suffered an injury in a match with his father, keeping him out of the ring for several weeks. Consequently, he was also unable to participate in the 2026 Men&#8217;s Royal Rumble match.
