Delhi-NCR weather: <\/strong>Delhi-NCR has been experiencing above-normal temperatures during the past 24 hours with largely dry conditions. However, amid these, the national capital woke up shrouded by a dusty weather on Tuesday, resembling conditions similar to those during the winter season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is haze in Delhi-NCR caused by ‘petrol rain’ in Iran?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A light haze covered Delhi-NCR, triggering concerns among residents about the worsening pollution levels. Some users claimed that the hazy conditions are linked to a chemical fallout after a refinery strike or ‘petrol rain’ in parts of Iran. The India Meteorological Department (IMD), however, clarified that the hazy conditions were caused by dense fog, not air pollution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do weather experts say?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to weather experts, this phenomenon in North India is mainly caused by dust carried by strong winds from dry regions or a combination of meteorological factors. Such conditions resulted in fog and impacted visibility across Delhi-NCR and western Uttar Pradesh this morning. In fact, such weather conditions are not unusual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delhi-NCR temperature forecast<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While the smog created morning haze, weather experts have warned against rising temperatures in NCR over the next few days. Meteorologists say the maximum temperature between March 10 and March 11 could soar to 37\u00b0C or 38\u00b0C, breaking past records for the 2nd week of March. Meanwhile, night temperatures are also likely to remain warm at 20\u00b0C. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After March 11, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 37\u00b0C until March 14. A slight drop may be recorded from March 15 onwards, reaching 34\u00b0C and 36\u00b0C, while night temperatures could dip to 18\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
