Bengaluru shocker: Woman dies after consuming pesticide following argument over 3-day old sambhar with husband

A 27-year-old woman in Bengaluru died after consuming pesticide following an argument with her husband over serving three-day-old sambhar at home.

A normal domestic dispute over serving the same three-day-old sambhar ended in the death of a woman in Bengaluru.

Kavya, 27, allegedly consumed pesticides after an argument with her husband on Thursday. She had been married for five years and was the mother of a four-year-old child. According to some reports, Kavya and her husband Rangaswamy argued over three-day-old sambhar after she served food that had been cooked three days earlier.

Heated Exchange Between Couple

The discussion reportedly turned into a heated exchange, during which the husband verbally abused her and allegedly tried to assault her.

The situation escalated further, and the argument intensified, with Rangaswamy verbally abusing her and also attempting to assault her.

Woman Consumes Pesticides

After the heated conversation, Kavya consumed pesticides that were kept for agricultural use. Later, family members discovered that she was unwell and had been vomiting. She was rushed to the hospital but died on the way, police said.

Police Begin Investigation

Police took her body for a post-mortem to a government hospital. A case has been registered at the police station, and further investigation is underway.
